Chhapaak: Deepika Padukone Glows Sans Makeup As She Poses With Shankar Mahadevan And Meghna Gulzar

After delivering a blockbuster performance in Padmaavat,
Deepika Padukone is all geared up to set the screens on fire with her next,
Chhapaak. For the uninitiated, Chhapaak is based on the life of acid attack
survivor Laxmi Agarwal. The film also stars Vikrant Massey and marks Padukone's
debut production venture. While shooting in Delhi, a picture of them had gone
viral on the internet and her fans had gaga bonkers. Deepika and Vikrant have
wrapped up the shooting of the film and Chhapaak is currently into the
post-production work.
But the latest picture gives us a hint about the music of Chhapaak. Music director Shankar Mahadev took to social media to share a selfie featuring Deepika and the director of the film Meghna Gulzar. In his caption, he wrote, “Chapaak in progress.... @deepikapadukone @meghnagulzar #chapaak” No prize for guessing, Shankar Mahadevan will be giving the music which will surely be a hit. In the picture, Deepika can be seen flaunting her million-dollar smile as she goes without makeup for the snap. Earlier talking about Deepika playing her part, the acid attack survivor Laxmi had told a section of media, "When you see someone in pain, you feel it too. Deepika is someone who embodies the character and not just the face. She immersed herself completely into the role and the character. It is a painful journey, so I think it is natural for anyone to breakdown if they are so involved with the journey. I am only happy to know that she is doing full justice to the role.”

release on January 10, 2020.
