On the work, Deepika Padukone is gearing up for the release of Chhapaak in January 2020. Based on the real-life story of acid attack survivor Laxmi Agarwal, the film is helmed by Raazi director Meghna Gulzar. Deepika had also confirmed being a part of a dark romantic film, which is set to go on the floors by 2020.
