Ekta Kapoor On Judgmentall Hai Kya Getting Lukewarm BO Response: Mera Kaam Hai Kaam Karna Apka Kaam Hai Judge Karna
Judgementall Hai Kya producer Ekta Kapoor talks about the BO failure of her film at the trailer launch of Ayushmann Khurrana’s Dream Girl
Producer Ekta Kapoor’s Judgementall Hai Kya has been one of the most loved films this year for the performances of Kangana Ranaut and Rajkummar Rao. The film that has released 3 weeks back has emerged to have a decent collection at the box-office, despite clashing with Kriti Sanon, Varun Sharma and Diljit Dosanjh starrer Arjun Patiala. Judgementall Hai Kya that released on July 26, 2019, has earned an estimate of Rs. 38 crores till 10th August. Recently at the release of Ayushmann Khurrana’s Dream Girl, the producer reacts to the film not getting a great response at the BO.
During the trailer launch of the event, when a media representative questioned the producer about Judgementall Hai Kya, the question was, “Film aayi, kuch audiences ne usko judge kiya aur kuch ne mental kaha use, kya kahenge is bare main?” Replying to the media representative, Ekta Kapoor answered, “Audience ki ray hai kya kar sakhte hai. Mera kaam hai kaam karna apka kaam hai Judge karna. I will not stop doing my job and I am okay for criticism.” The Kangana Ranaut and Rajkummar Rao starrer has been doing fine amidst the controversies the film faced. Ekta Kapoor has been one of the most successful producers in B-Town and she has managed to produce some of the latest hits.
Judgementall Hai Kya was recently screened at Rashtrapati Bhavan for the honourable ministers and staff. SpotboyE editor Vicky Lalwani rated the film with 4 stars, calling it worth the ticket. As the trailer of Dream Girl launched today, the film is directed by Raaj Shandilya and produced by Ekta Kapoor. Dream Girl is scheduled to release on September 13, 2019.
