Guess Who? Hint: This Actress Stood Up In Defence For Her Director Accused In #MeToo
We’re back with a new round of throwback pictures of an actress who’s known more for her roles in the rom-com genre of films. This Bollywood diva stood up in defence of her film director as allegations of sexual harassment were made against him by an actress who refused to be named.

Were these hints sufficient enough for you to draw a guess? If not, then let us reveal the answer. We’re talking about Nushrat Bharucha. The actress is known more for the Pyaar Ka Punchnama franchise and her last film Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety entered the Rs 100 crore club. On Mother’s Day, she shared pictures from her childhood and wrote, “She dances with me, dresses me up and gives me the best adventures of my life! Everyday of my life is Your day Mother! @ttbharucha #happymothersday”

So, Nushrat stood by her director’s side when allegations of sexual assault were placed against him by an actress. In fact, the Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety actress also penned a letter defending him. She wrote, “When I heard these allegations, I really just wanted to get up there and start telling everyone about the various incidents that have happened on our sets and how Luv Sir has always stood up for us girls, each and every time, when no one else would. But he told me not to. He said it was his fight to fight and he did not want me or anyone else to fight it for him. But I cannot stop myself or wait anymore. I want to say it for how it was and how it has always been, because the Luv Ranjan that I know, is an opposite to the personality that is being painted recently.”
