Reports say that actor Shahid Kapoor has hiked his fee after the phenomenal success of Kabir Singh. The actor is now asking for a whopping Rs 30 Crore from prospective filmmakers
Shahid Kapoor has delivered a terrific performance in the film Kabir Singh. The 38-year-old actor’s hard work and that of the entire cast and crew has paid off, as the film is hitting it hard on the numbers at Box-Office. After basking in the success of his film, the actor has hiked his fees post the release of his film.
According to a report by the Mumbai Mirror, the actor has reportedly hiked his fees to Rs. 35 Crore a film. Earlier Shahid was reported to be charging a whopping amount of Rs. 30 Crore a film, but since the film has taken off quite well amidst the rumors and controversies surrounding it, the actor is aiming to become one of the highest paid actors in the industry. As per several other reports, actor Salman Khan is supposedly charging Rs. 60 Crore per film, whereas Shah Rukh Khan, Akshay Kumar, Aamir Khan, and Hrithik Roshan get Rs. 30-40 Crore per film. While Ranbir Kapoor charges Rs. 30 Crore per film.
Shahid Kapoor was recently playing the role of Kabir Singh – a hot-headed, angry, surgeon in Sandeep Reddy Vanga film co-starring Kiara Advani. The film has made a total of Rs. 239.97 cr. In 13 days of its release and is soaring higher on the Box-office. The actor has been appreciated as well as criticized for the role he played in the film. The actor recently also spoke about his experience and what the toughest part was while shooting the film.
