Kartik Aaryan-Kriti Sanon’s Luka Chuppi Cleared With 4 Cuts
CBFC has cleared Kartik Aaryan and Kriti Sanon-starrer Luka Chuppi with 4 cuts- 3 audio and 1 visual
The Kartik Aaryan and Kriti Sanon starrer Luka Chuppi has been granted a U/A certificate by the Central Board of Film Certification, but not without asking for four deletions- 3 audio and 1 visual in the original edit of the movie. The CBFC muted words k*njar and “har**mi. Even a word like ch**a has been replaced with kutta and a dialogue Mujhe bhi chahiye which has a hand gesture has been changed. Also, the board has requested the makers to add a Hindi disclaimer. The final run-time of the movie will be 126 minutes 9 seconds.
Luka Chuppi helmed by Dinesh Vijan depicts a fun take on live-relationships as Kartik Aaryan and Kriti Sanon’s characters get trapped into a fake marriage and start living-in with Kartik’s family. We recently caught up with the actors. We asked Kartik everything that was required to be asked. Did he get Taapsee Pannu dropped from Pati, Patni Aur Woh remake? Is he dating Sara Ali Khan or Ananya Panday? Does he have a great PR machinery that has suddenly catapulted him into big fame? When we interviewed Kriti, we not only spoke about her upcoming release Luka Chuppi, but also asked her about the fracas that happened in Housefull 4, how were the vibes on sets when Sajid Khan was the director of the film and also about the increase in budget when Nana Patekar was ousted from the film.
Coming back to Luka Chuppi, the movie will be releasing this Friday, i.e. March 1 and will face a box-office clash from Sushant Singh Rajput and Bhumi Pednekar starrer Sonchiriya.
