Kim Sharma’s Ex- House Help Alleges Assault; Says Was “Pushed” After Laundry Mix-Up

Kim Sharma has courted legal trouble yet again. This time
her ex-house help has alleged that the actress assaulted her over laundry
mix-up. Cops have lodged non-cognisable offence.
The house help in question, Esther Khes, 31, told Mumbai
Mirror that she began working at Kim’s Khar residence on April 27. While doing
the laundry on May 21, she apparently forgot to separate light and
dark-coloured clothes. “After the clothes were washed, I noticed that a black
blouse had bled into a white tee. I realised my mistake and went to tell her
about it immediately,” she said.
According to Khes, Kim flew into a rage and manhandled
her. “She pushed me out of the house, telling me not to return. She even hurled
unparliamentary words at me,” she further said.
That’s not all. Khes alleges that the actress refused to
pay her salary as well despite several attempts. “I tried several times to get
my salary. After her final refusal, I lodged a police complaint on June 27.”
A Khar police official told the tabloid that the
non-cognisable offence was registered under sections 323 (voluntarily causing
hurt) and 504 (intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace)
of the IPC. “The complainant can move the court for further legal action as per
the law.”

However, Kim has a different story to tell. She said that she clears salaries
on 7th of every month and has never hit her. “Khes has been told that her
dues would be cleared on the seventh. I did not beat her. She ruined my clothes
worth over Rs 70,000. I only asked her to leave after she did that.”
Kim is currently holidaying in New York.
This is not for the first time when her name has been
involved in a legal matter. Before this also she made headlines
when a Rajasthan-based businessman alleged that the actress has been
illegally driving his Range Rover and refusing to return it. Owing to this
Khar police has served a notice to Kim and her estranged husband Ali
Punjani under section 41(A) of CrPC.
