Meet The Lady Who Probably Convinced Priyanka Chopra To Walk Out Of Bharat
Priyanka Chopra’s exit from Bharat continues to be a topic of discussion. Now, we hear, a certain lady was perhaps one of the reasons behind the actress bowing out of the project

quit Bharat over a month ago but industrywallahs cannot stop talking about
it – both on-set and off it. Announcing her exit from the venture, director
Ali Abbas Zafar had hinted that she is set to take her relationship with Nick
Jonas to the next level and hence, bowed out of the film. However, here’s
the latest buzz that is doing the rounds of industry circles.
We hear, it was
Team Reshma Shetty (who manage the actress) that might have influenced
Priyanka’s decision to quit Bharat. Says a source, “Team Reshma Shetty made her
understand – it didn’t take too long – that the film no longer belonged to her
‘league’ with the addition of certain names to the cast. Considering PeeCee was
all set to make her comeback into Hindi films with Bharat, the talent
management agency didn’t want her to falter.”
Adds the source,
“The casting did not pan out as envisaged and Priyanka immediately called Ali
to tell him about her concerns. The rest, as they say, is history.”
Now, one cannot ignore Reshma Shetty and Salman Khan’s ‘dark past’. The two reportedly had a massive showdown after which ‘mutually’ agreed to part ways. A joint statement at that point said that the superstar wants his family members to look after the business aspect now. It is said that the money to be exchanged between them is still under dispute and that chapter hasn’t closed yet. Should we be joining dots or Priyanka’s matter is really unrelated?
