Shibani Dandekar On Dating Farhan Akhtar: “Not Secretive But Don’t Need To Say Things Aloud”
Farhan Akhtar’s affair with VJ Shibani Dandekar has been the talk of the town for over months. While their actions are speaking louder than words, here’s what the VJ has to say about being in a relationship with the ace filmmaker
Farhan Akhtar has almost confirmed his relationship with Shibani Dandekar. A few days back, he posted a picture of him walking with Shibani (same picture which Shibani had shared in the month of Sep) with a heart emoji, spelling it out that it’s all love between the two. And now, Shibani too has made it clear indirectly that they share something special.
While talking to Mid-day, Shibani has said that she doesn’t find the need to say things aloud and make an announcement about who is she dating. “I am not secretive, but I don't feel the need to say things out loud. I don't need to make an announcement about who I'm dating. It's up to me to decide when and what I want to share about my personal life and it is up to the audience to decide how they look at it. How much information I want to put out in the public domain is my prerogative." Shibani told the daily, not denying that there is nothing between Farhan and her.

Although Shibani didn’t say it as specifically as Farhan’s post did, yet it’s clear enough. The VJ also shared her opinion about being under constant scrutiny at a recent event, "We are public figures, so people are entitled to say what they want to. But I don't care about their opinion. I'm aware of who I am and I'm comfortable with who I choose to date."
Well, looks like it’s the season of love. As you know, Malaika Arora and Arjun Kapoor have also been dropping a lot of hints about being together. After their picture from Milan, where the couple was snapped walking hand-in-hand, got leaked, things have been clear about their relationship too. Malaika’s reactions on Arjun’s topic- whether it’s Karan teasing her about the Milan holidays or media asking her about the wedding news- have been obvious enough.
