Vishal Bhardwaj, who was last seen in 'Krishnadasi' is all set to explore the digital medium. The dashing actor has been roped in to play the lead role in an upcoming web series 'Viraat'. When quizzed about his role, Vishal excitedly stated, "I am playing the central character of Mohit, who accidentally meets Parkhi (Kritika Sachdeva) and falls in love with her. But just when their love is about to blossom, a murder takes place in the city and he gets under the police radar for the investigation. The story gets intense when multiple crimes follow, raising more suspicion. Whether he is just a suspect or a murderer masquerading behind his romantic demeanour, the story unfolds."
Viraat is a murder mystery that involves the murders of VIPs. Though it's a crime thriller, it also has elements of romance, comedy and drama. The entire series was shot in Chandigarh. Vishal and Kritika also shot a soulful romantic song featuring in the picturesque hills of Janjehli and Bilaspur. Talking about his experience shooting the series, Vishal said, "It was an exhilarating experience shooting with the entire unit and our director made sure we had a ball with his unique sense of humour.
