Anupamaa Written UPDATES: Fans Express Disappointment As Anuj FINALLY Reveals Why He Has Been Away From Anu; Netizens Say, ‘Khoda Paahad Nikla Chuha’
Star Plus’ show Anupamaa has been topping the BARC ratings ever since it started in 2020. Starring Rupali Ganguly, Sudhanshu Pandey, Chhavi Pandey and Gaurav Khanna in lead roles, the makers of the show have been keeping the audiences hooked to the high voltage drama. After making the fans wait for weeks, Anuj finally revealed why he stayed away from Anu and broke his promise to meet her. For the unversed, he had been staying with Maya and Choti Anu in Mumbai after Anu had left Choti to go with her birth mother.

After creating a lot of curiosity amongst the audience, on why Anuj stayed away from Anu all this time, in a previous episode it was revealed that Maya was mentally unstable. Anuj revealed that once he had left to go meet Anu, he received a call from Choti telling him that Maya hit her head pretty badly after he had pushed her to go meet Anu. He goes on to share that according to the doctors, her mental state is not well and that she couldn’t be left alone. While, a section of fans sympathised with Anuj, for having to live with someone like Maya and many even commended Gaurav for his acting skills, another section of netizens were upset at Anuj’s reasoning. Many even expressed how the track was vaguely written.

Talking about the ongoing plots Anu’s mentor Malti Devi, during Samar and Dimpy’s wedding, will see Anuj and get emotional. It will be later revealed that Anuj is her son, who she left at the adoption centre to focus on her career. On the other hand Vanraj will refuse to accept Kavya’s baby and accuse her of having an extra-marital affair with her ex-husband Anirudh. There is also a possibility of Kanta exposing Vanraj, Maya and Barkha's scheme of keeping Anu-Anuj away. It will be interesting to see how the makers tie all the plots together so that Anupamaa can go to the USA to fulfil her dreams.
