Sony TV's popular singing reality show Indian Idol 12 will telecast its finale episode on August 15 (Independence Day) this year. The season which aired in November 2020 had a successful run of almost a year. And to end the show on a greater note, the makers have decided to go for a long 12 hours finale episode. The event will air from afternoon 12 till 12 in the midnight and to keep the audiences hooked a lot of celebrity singers have been invited to perform.
A few days back, media reports suggested that legendary Bollywood singers from the 90's Alka Yagnik, Kumar Sanu, and Udit Narayan have been sent invitations to be a part of the grand event. Well, this is not the first time when we will see them coming together on a stage. Last year, the three singers were seen as mentors on a singing reality show Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Lil Champs Season 8. Later the shoot came to halt owing to lockdown due to the coronavirus and gradually when the lockdown was lifted, singer Udit Narayan and Kumar Sanu opted-out of the show due to prior commitments. After which Himesh Reshammiya and Javed Ali stepped into their shoes.
Coming to the Indian Idol finale, it will be exciting to see who all along with these superhit voices will grace the occasion.
