This news put reports of Sreejita doing Twisted 2 to rest. In August, several entertainment portals had reported that Sreejita had replaced Nia for the second season of Vikram Bhatt’s erotic thriller. Vikram himself had confirmed the news to a section of the media. But then, what made SMOKING HOT Sreejita opt out of the popular web series?
SpotboyE.com got in touch with Sreejita and she told us "I went ahead with Untouchables, the other series for Vikram Bhatt’s YouTube channel, VB On The Web. I felt I can do a better job in Untouchables, and of course Vikram Bhatt himself acts in the series. There was no second thought.”
Vikram Bhatt also confirmed the news saying "Sreejita is doing Untouchables with us".
Vikram makes his acting debut with the series. He will be playing a lawyer in the series.
It also stars actor Tara Alisha Berry, who made her acting debut last year in Vikram’s erotic thriller Love Games. Interacting with the media at the launch of the series, the 48-year-old filmmaker said that acting was not a planned decision. “While we were conceptualising the series, my director felt that I should play the role. I had no plans of acting but I didn’t mind it. I agreed and I am nervous about the debut,” he said.
The web-series was supposed to be in March-April but got delayed, meanwhile Twisted with Nia Sharma and Namit Khanna was released on the internet.
