The news of Karan Mehra aka Naitik quitting Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai for health reasons, after a 7-year-stint, had shocked the show’s fans.

The current track has Naitik flying out of india for work as wells as to attend his nephew Yash’s wedding. After the shaadi and its celebrations, we hear, the track will focus on Naitik.
Now, here comes an interesting twist. The makers have decided to shoot 2 climaxes for Naitik -- one of him getting killed and the other, where he is kidnapped.
Says a source, “They are confused about how to end Naitik’s track. One option is to show him dead. The other is to make him disappear so that there is an option of bringing him back -- by replacing him with another actor -- later.”
Both tracks have already been shot and our guess is, the kidnapping track will make it to the show.
