Family Time With
Kapil Sharma’s first episode hit TV screens on March 25. Goes without saying,
fans had high expectations from Kapil’s comeback vehicle. However, they
were left disappointed as it proved to be a combination of forced humour and
stale characters.
In fact, while
some called it ‘boring’, others tagged Kapil's comeback a ‘waste’.
With immense
curiosity surrounding the comedian’s return, we weren’t surprised to see the
comedy show land a spot in the Top 10. In Week 13 (March 24-30), Family Time
With Kapil Sharma acquired the 10th spot. Nonetheless, barely scraping the
bottom of the barrel.
We dug out the
first episode impressions of the first episode of The Kapil Sharma Show and
compared it with the ratings of episode 1 of Family Time With Kapil Sharma and
it’s clear indication that the comedian’s loyalists have dipped in number.

first episode went on-air, the comedian went back to his ‘old’ ways of
functioning and cancelled shoot with Rani Mukerji. SpotboyE.com has it that the seasoned actress
was made to wait for hours after which her team was eventually told that Kapil
has cancelled the shoot.
With the comedian
inviting bad press YET AGAIN, time will tell if the lacklustre Family Time With
Kapil Sharma manages to secure a spot in the Top 10 next week.

Moving on to the other shows, Super Dancer 2 moved up 5 positions. The audience lapped up the season finale, which was won by Bishal Sharma. The boy took home Rs 17 lakh.

Dancer 2, another show which registered a significant climb in its performance
is Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai. The family drama soared from 8 to 4.

position was held up Kundali Bhagya, while Kumkum Bhagya, which usually lands
up in Spot 2, slipped and stood at No. 3.

Taarak Mehta Ka
Ooltah Chashmah was the fifth most-watched show this time.
Zee TV’s Ishq
Subah Allah, which had got off to a great start but eventually slipped, dropped
further this time. It had to settle with the 15th position.
