Raveena Tandon calls out many industry wives/girlfriends as silent observers and instigators to their husbands’ predatory ways. Twitterati are connecting the tweet to Raveena’s ex-boyfriend, Akshay Kumar, and his wife Twinkle Khanna.

Here’s what Raveena has said, "What defines harassment in a workplace? The fact that many industry wives/girlfriends are silent observers or instigators, when actor husbands destroy the actresses careers after the chase and flirtation is over, have them replaced with other potential targets? (sic)."

A section of Twitter users seem to believe that her tweet is an indirect message directed towards Akshay Kumar and his wife Twinkle Khanna. Here are some of the tweets:














Raveena hasn't yet named anyone yet in her tweets, but she has lent her full support to Tanushree Dutta. In her favour, Raveena had tweeted a day before, "When our industry fails to stand for and protect its own. They get their chance and lose it. Makes our films on women empowerment hollow. The deafening silence on #TanushreeDutta case is sickening. remember the controversy breaking out .( part 1) (sic)."

She went on to add, "Sadly no witnesses or proof.So  one couldn’t say. But obviously for her this has been a life changing incident. Ive worked with Nana too,(Mustafa)had heard about his volatile temper, but never witnessed http://it.In  fact he was courteous and helpful.(part 2) (sic)."

She concluded her statement by writing, "Today there is social media,a lot more information given,10 years ago mostly people would rely on the gossipy magazines which carried scandalous headlines to sell.One  didn’t know the difference between reality and yellow journalism. (Part-3)#TanushreeDutta (sic)."

Raveena also saw the footage back from 2008, when Tanushree was stuck inside her car and there was an unruly and angry mob trying to destroy her car. Raveena reacted by saying, "90,s .Seeing this footage for the first time.Shudder to think what she went through.Her face showing such brave calm.There is a goon with a camera in his hand ?Was he a media person?Trace these scumbags even now,register a case,lock them up.What are the cops standing by watching? (sic)."

Nana Patekar, embroiled in the scandal, is currently shooting for Housefull 4 in Rajasthan. He promised to return to Mumbai soon and hold a press conference.

Tanushree, however, is not scared. She opened up about the same while exclusively speaking to SpotboyE.com Editor Vickey Lalwani and said, "Journalists must go to Nana's press conference. He is an actor. Kaafi acting hone wali hai, wahan pe. Be prepared for an award-winning performance from him. Ten years ago, he said I am like his daughter. I laughed. His 'camera se aankhein milakar har baat ka jawab dunga' statements is making me laugh again."
