Anurag Kashyap Slams Rangoli For Calling Taapsee Pannu A "Sasti Copy" Of Kangana Ranaut
Rangoli Chandel's rants have always been the talk of the town. Yesterday, Rangoli had bluntly called out Varun Dhawan and Taapsee Pannu for not giving Kangana Ranaut due credit after watching the trailer of Judgmentall Hai Kya. The lady got a taste of her own medicine as Anurag Kashyap blasted her for calling his Manmarziyaan actress, Taapsee, a "Sasti copy" of Kangana.

The director took to his Twitter handle and defended his Manmaziyaan actress. He wrote, "Come on Rangoli.. this is going too far.. this is really really desperate.. I really don’t know what to say to this. Having worked with both your sister and Taapsee .. I just don’t get this ..praising the trailer means praising all aspect of it. Which includes Kangana"

In her defense, Rangoli responded to Anurag in a series of tweets clarifying to the director that her response to Taapsee was not because she did not mention Kangana in her tweet but because she had once said that the Queen actress needed to use a “double filter.” She wrote, "Sir you can see it’s not about mentioning Kangana so much, clearly lot of people I have thanked haven’t mentioned her, it’s just that I am tired of people taking digs at her, who is this Taapsee to claim that Kangana needs double filter....(contd)  @anuragkashyap72"

Continuing, "(Contd)..Taapsee is a fan & loves to copy her yes we all are, who wouldn’t like to be like Kangana bt why attack her and take digs, yeh sab shanagiri nikalne keliye he toh main twitter pe ayi hun thank u very much magar sab ki pol khulegi koi nahin rok sakta"

Speaking of the trailer, Kangana and Rajkummar are playing the roles of Bobby and Keshav, two prime suspects in a murder. The two actors are pitted against each other in the film and will be seen indulging in a game of one-upmanship. There is passion, drama, mystery and amazing performances, all rolled in one.

Ekta Kapoor’s directorial Judgementall Hai Kya was earlier titled Mental Hai Kya, but the makers had to change the title due to a controversy that erupted over the usage of the term “Mental”. The film, which is helmed by Prakash Kovelamudi, will hit the big screens on July 26, 2019, clashing it with Kriti Sanon, Varun Sharma and Diljit Dosanjh's Arjun Patiala.
